Half Ironman (70.3) coaching

The 70.3 is its own race, not half of anything. Jen writes custom Half Ironman plans that fit real schedules, from your first 70.3 to a World Championship start line.

Athletes qualified for and raced at the Ironman 70.3 World Championship.

Podiums

Real schedules

Plans built around work, family, and the hours you actually have.

25+ years

Coaching endurance athletes full time since 1999.

Respect the distance, protect your life.

The Half Ironman rewards smart pacing and consistent training more than monster volume. Jen builds your 70.3 plan around the hours you can actually train, with swim, bike, and run sessions that each have a purpose, delivered through TrainingPeaks with regular feedback.

Race execution gets equal attention. You will go in with a fueling plan you have practiced, pacing targets for each leg, and a clear plan for race week. Whether the goal is finishing your first 70.3, setting a personal best, or qualifying for the 70.3 World Championship, the path is written for you.

Questions athletes ask

How long does it take to train for a Half Ironman?
Many athletes are ready in a few months of structured training. Jen sets the build to your current fitness and your race date.
Can I train for a 70.3 while working full time?
Yes. Most of Jen's athletes work full time. Plans are built around your real schedule, not an ideal one.
Is this my first 70.3, can you coach me?
Absolutely. First-timers are a big part of Team JHC, and the plan meets you exactly where you are.
Do you coach 70.3 World Championship qualifiers?
Yes. Jen has coached multiple athletes to 70.3 World Championship qualification and race-day podiums.
